Returning to the shores of La Jolla, the La Jolla Concours d’Elegance presented by LPL Financial and Pacific Sotheby’s International Realty celebrates its 17th year of automotive excellence Friday April 21st, Saturday April 22nd, and Sunday April 23rd. Earning a reputation as one of the finest internationally renowned classic automobile showcases in the US, the La Jolla Concours continues to attract discerning car enthusiasts from around the globe for a weekend of prestigious events.
The La Jolla Concours d’Elegance is proud to announce the election of a new Executive Committee member: Vahid Moradi of CJ Charles in La Jola California. The LJCDE organization is eager to expand and improve with Moradi’s involvement in this world class automobile experience.
Born in Tehran, Iran, Vahid Moradi came to La Jolla at a young age where he attended La Jolla High School and then the University of San Diego. At the age of 19 while still in college, he started working in the jewelry industry. His passion, dedication and commitment for the industry led him to become the respected owner of CJ Charles Jewelers in La Jolla. His accomplishments have also led him to be an respected contributor to the village of La Jolla. Purveyors of fantasy, CJ Charles has been a Californian institution since 1986. Family owned and operated by Moradi, all team members make it a mission to fulfill their tagline, Exceeding the Extraordinary. Over the years, he has made it his mission to support philanthropic causes including the UCSD Moores Cancer Center, Miracle Babies and Promises2Kids. He is dedicated to make a difference in the local community and continues this endeavor through joining the La Jolla Concours Executive Committee in 2022.
